Waiver (UK)
 1) Overview & Acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of our website and all coaching, courses, programs, events, and digital products (the Services). By purchasing or using any Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms by posting a new version; continued use means acceptance.
2) Eligibility
You must be 18+ to purchase or participate. You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
3) Services We Provide

Private and group coaching (online/in person)

Digital courses, recordings, and materials (live or pre-recorded)

Programs/bundles, including 12-month agreements

Workshops, retreats, and events
Formats may be live, pre-recorded, or mixed. We may adjust schedules or delivery platforms with reasonable notice; such changes are not grounds for a refund.
4) Price, Billing & Stripe (Card Security)
4.1 Prices. Prices may change prospectively (does not affect completed purchases).
4.2 Billing Info. You must provide and maintain accurate billing details.
4.3 Stripe / PCI-DSS. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details on our systems. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Your card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s privacy/security controls. See our Privacy Policy for processors used.
4.4 Taxes & Fees. Where applicable, you agree to pay any VAT/fees shown at checkout.
5) Payment Plans & 12-Month Agreements
5.1 Instalments. If you select a payment plan, you authorise fixed instalments on the agreed dates until the total is paid. Payment plans are not cancellable for convenience once access begins.
5.2 Payment Failures. If a payment fails, we may retry and notify you. If not remedied within 5 days, we may suspend access and/or terminate under Section 16. Reasonable admin costs and lawful interest may apply to overdue balances.
5.3 12-Month Bundles (Early Exit). If you joined a discounted 12-month bundle and request to exit early, we’ll re-price the content you already accessed at its standard a-la-carte rates (i.e., reverse the unused portion of the bundle discount). You pay any shortfall and no further bundle instalments are due. This is intended as a proportionate adjustment (not a penalty) under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5.4 Chargebacks. You agree not to raise fraudulent chargebacks. We may contest any chargeback with proof of purchase, access logs, and your acceptance of these Terms.
6) Refunds & UK Cooling-Off Rules (Digital & Services)
6.1 General. Unless a specific product page states otherwise, all sales are final and non-refundable, without affecting your statutory rights.
6.2 Digital Content (Consumer Contracts Regs 2013). If you request/accept immediate access to digital content (courses, downloads, recordings) within the 14-day cooling-off period, you expressly consent to delivery and acknowledge you lose the right to cancel once access is granted. If you wish to keep the right to cancel, do not access the content during that period.
6.3 Services Starting Within 14 Days. If a live service begins within 14 days and you cancel within that period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for Services already delivered before cancellation.
6.4 Technical Issues. If you experience access issues, email info at kingsofcompassion.com and we’ll assist promptly.
7) Scheduling, Reschedules & No-Shows

Private sessions: 24 hours’ notice required to reschedule.

Arrivals 15+ minutes late or no-shows may be forfeited.

Transfers between programs are not permitted unless we agree in writing.

We may adjust call times/dates with reasonable notice.
8) Community Standards (Safe Container)
You agree to maintain confidentiality of group shares, be respectful, and refrain from harassment, hate speech, or abusive conduct. We may remove you from communities and/or programs for violations without refund.
9) Recordings & Testimonial Use
Group sessions may be recorded for educational quality and replays. We will not publish your private 1:1 sessions without written consent. You can opt out of being shown in group marketing by emailing info at kingsofcompassion.com before the session.
If you share wins/feedback (including in chats or by email), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and edit those shares for marketing and training, unless you opt out in writing.
10) Intellectual Property (Personal Use Licence)
All course content, frameworks, recordings, worksheets, and brand assets are the exclusive property of Riseupun Limited and/or Michelle Cachucho. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning only. You must not copy, distribute, resell, publish, or create derivative works without our written consent.
11) Confidentiality
You agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by us or other participants (including identities, stories, and shares in sessions/communities).
12) Accuracy & Availability
We aim to keep information current but do not guarantee completeness or error-free operation at all times. We may modify modules, schedules, or features where reasonably required.
13) Practitioner Disclaimer (No Professional Advice)
Michelle Cachucho is not a medical doctor, psychologist, therapist, solicitor, or financial adviser. Coaching and content are educational and not a substitute for professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and wellbeing; seek qualified professional support where appropriate.
14) Limitation of Liability (UK)
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss; or loss of profits, revenue, reputation, or opportunity arising from use of the Services. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under law.
15) Data Protection (Signpost to Privacy Policy)
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our data practices (including processors such as Stripe) are explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. For rights requests, contact info at kingsofcompassion.com.
16) Termination for Cause
We may suspend or terminate access (with notice where reasonable) for: non-payment; serious or repeated community breaches; IP misuse; or other material breach. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund. Early-Exit re-pricing (Section 5.3) may apply to bundles.
17) Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays/failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., outages, platform failures, illness, strikes, government action, or force majeure). We will take reasonable steps to resume performance.
18) Severability
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. The clause will be applied to the minimum extent needed to be lawful.
19) Entire Agreement; No Waiver
These Terms and any specific product terms at checkout are the entire agreement. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
20) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
